SOFTBALL: 2008 Record Breaking Season   printer

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The 2008 edition of the Trevecca softball team, despite playing seven fewer games due to weather, has already left its mark on the record books with the regular season finished.

Kacey Coonce tied an NAIA record with three home runs in a game earlier this season. Stephanie Fisher now owns the NAIA career record for relief appearances. She has 47 in her career, one better than the previous record of 46.

Brittiany Johnson, who owns numerous Trevecca pitching and hitting records, has broken and is approaching several NAIA hitting and pitching records. She is doing so in what will be a three-year Trevecca/NAIA career.

She is third in career strikeouts, wins, appearances, and is fourth in innings pitched.
