Trevecca Nazarene University encourages academic excellence
for all students. The Academic Support Center (ASC), located on
the lower level of the Waggoner Library, provides assistance to those
seeking help in achieving their academic potential. Additionally,
the ASC provides or coordinates services for disabled students so that
their performance reflects their achievement rather than their
disability.
Administrative or Educational Support Unit Mission Statement:
The Academic Support Center exists to provide a variety of academic
support services for students to help them realize their desired
educational goals. Through tutoring assistance for developmental
courses, peer tutoring, individual instruction and counseling, the
center works with students to empower them to be successful in
academics. The center also provides academic support services to
students with disabilities. The center supervises the process of
earning academic credit through alternate methods other than
traditional.
